Scenes and subjects of artwork should capture and reflect the Greater Westhampton Community. Competition is open to any 2D original art (watercolors, acrylics, pastels, oils, photography, etc.) with a 1 entry limit. It is preferred that work does not exceed 48” x 48”. Please note that the winning artwork will be cropped and reproduced as a 20 x 24 poster.

Artwork Submission Form is to be submitted to The Chamber of Commerce with a digital image of artwork to be submitted no later than Friday, March 20, 2026. Submission Form may be emailed to info@whbcc.org, mailed to the Chamber Office, or dropped off in person Tuesdays through Fridays, between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. Please note that the exhibition will be closed to entries when the maximum capacity has been reached.

Artwork (wired to hang) is to be delivered by the artist with a copy of the Artwork Submission Form attached (one per entry) to: Westhampton Free Library, 7 Library Avenue, Westhampton Beach on the following dates:

On Wednesday, April 1st the exhibit opens to the public, therefore, artwork will not be accepted after March 30th

Contest Exhibit and Judging:

The exhibit will begin on Wednesday, April 1st, and end on Wednesday, April 29th at the Westhampton Free Library. The public can vote for their favorite artwork using the library-provided ballot. A photo ID is required at the time of ballot entry (one vote per person). Votes will be tallied on Wednesday, April 29th. The top three (3) entries will participate in a final weighted vote. All artwork pieces will remain on display at the library until the exhibit’s end on April 29, 2026. Exhibited artwork MUST be picked up at Westhampton Free Library as follows:

The winning artwork will be reproduced to a projected 20 x 24 poster and will be used for marketing, promotional and fundraising events to benefit the programs of the Chamber. The artist will earn a cash prize of $100 and will be given 5 posters for their distribution. The winning artist agrees to allow the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce to print up to 500 limited edition posters, with up to 100 of these prints signed by the artist to be used for sale, benefiting the Chamber.
